2011 Check Presentation

On November 2, 2011 Ann & Joe presented a $20,000 check for the 2011 Annual Wine Tasting Benefit to the Akron Children’s Hospital Pediatric Palliative Care Team to support their Gift Card Fund.

About the Haslinger Pediatric Palliative Care Center.

In northeast Ohio, a new type of care is emerging that redefines a period of life that is often lost to terminally ill children and their families. Akron Children’s Hospital Haslinger Family Pediatric Palliative Care Center Director Sarah Friebert, MD, founded the region’s first palliative care system for children, bringing back and expanding the concept of the house call.
